Mother of 3, 4 if you count my fur baby Murphy. Over 14 years of experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, sales tax reporting and Payroll.

When I’m not at the office, I am traveling with my family.

Monica

I am a five generation native of the Marble Falls area.  I graduated from Marble Falls High School and then went on to study Business Administration and Accounting at Austin Community College.  I am a licensed Texas Mortgage Loan Originator and Texas Property & Casualty Insurance agent.  I came to work at Marble Falls Tax Lady in the spring of 2023 after a downturn in the housing market.  I am in the process of expanding my knowledge in the areas of bookkeeping and tax preparation through continuing education in those areas. 

I have two grown children and one grandson who are the light of my life.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I love the outdoors and spend as much time as possible enjoying nature at every opportunity.  I am a reader and love a good book when I have the time.  I am also an avid movie fan due to my time spent working at a video store in my youth.  Music is also a passion of mine and I love to sing and listen to music and attend musical performances.

Jessica

My name is Jessica. I have been working alongside Marble Falls Tax Lady for 9 months as a bookkeeper. I am responsible for recording and maintaining various business’ financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, payroll and payments for clients. My goals are to learn more about accounting to better my knowledge and put it to use.

Before working in accounting, I was a Community Liaison with a local assisted living facility for 7 years. I love working with our elderly residents and clients.  You learn how fast time flies by and family is everything. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 kids, whether it is at home or in Florida. I have a 7 year old and 2 year old who keep me on my feet and so does my husband!

Bookkeeper @ Marble Falls & Llano Office

Retiring from Public Education in June 2023, I was ready to broaden my skills from the PEIMS & Payroll Specialist roll to that of Bookkeeping and Tax preparation. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity working with Stacey Nelson at the Marble Falls Tax Lady, LLC as an employee, as opposed to being only a client. Wonder if I can get a discount???

Tim, my husband, and I moved to Marble Falls in 2016 and were proud to have been a  part of the Marble Falls ISD family. Currently, he’s an Elementary Principal in Coleman, TX.  We have two children with wonderful spouses and careers, two granddaughters and a grandson on the way.

When not working or walking Trouble, my husband and I love to travel the roads visiting our family, site-seeing and antique shopping. Yet, sitting on the front porch drinking coffee and reading books is the next best thing.

Hello ~

I am a long time resident of Marble Falls, having come to the area in 1968.  I have done all aspects of accounting for more than 50 years, so I am very well seasoned.  Good luck on figuring out which one I am in the picture.

I love playing pranks on people… April 1^st is my favorite day of the year. On St Patrick’s Day I am decked out celebrating my Irishness and I have an assortment of Ugly Sweaters I save for December.

I have 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandkids.  I have 2 loving and thoughtful children who gave me grey hair at an early age.  So as payback, I live with one and work for the other!

I have an extensive working knowledge and experience of all aspects of management & accounting.  Additionally, I have a Bachelor’s degree from St Edward’s University in Business Management with accounting emphasis. I love a challenge.

I love God, my family & chocolate!  I have a fantastic rapport with clients, customers & vendors.  I love to hunt, fish, travel and can’t get enough sun and sand.  I can smile in the face of much adversity and I play well with others.
